I ♥ My Apps!

I use a lot of apps for my journey and some just for pleasure, so I wanted make a list of some of the apps that I have found successful and some of my favorites too! As I find new ones (and feel free to recommend your favorites in the comments) that I find helpful or just plain fun, I will most definitely update the list!

For now, these are just a few!

Weight Loss Apps:

PumpUp: I LOVE this app!!! It's like having your own personal trainer at your fingertips!! This app allows you to build your own workouts based on your skill level, your location, your equipment, your target areas, and the duration you require! It also has a community, so you are able to share your successes and follow other's journeys. You can also connect with Facebook friends and contacts from your device. The app also allows you to create a schedule complete with reminders! At the end of each workout, you receive a progress report telling you how many target areas you hit, how long you worked out, and my favorite, the total amount of calories you burned! You also don't have to use the workout builder, the app allows you to log your own workouts as well so you can track your calories!!

Nexercise: If you want a fun app to help you stay on track and keep you motivated...Nexercise is the app for you! This app really makes working out worth it, and when I say "worth it", I really mean WORTH IT!! It's almost like a competition with other users, but you have to be honest! Every day you log your workouts and you are then ranked and given points based on your progress. You also earn what they call "m-points". With your "m-points" you are able to redeem to enter into drawings and even redeem for gift cards to your favorite store! I definitely would recommend this app, especially if you need to stay motivated!

Weight Meter Free:  I don't use this app often and it can be a little confusing, however, this is a good app for tracking your weight loss. I use this app to keep track of my weigh-ins. I haven't explored it much further than that.

Daily Yoga: I recently downloaded this app, and I have only used it once, but I am adding it, because when I'd use it, it was very informative. The issue with this app, is once you download the app, you then subsequently have to download plug-ins in order to actually get instructions and yoga sessions. I was only able to add the breathing for beginners because my phone ran out space (story of my life)! I do, however, intend to download more videos and give this app a try! I will rewrite my review then, but I am excited to try it, because I hear yoga is really great and a wonderful stress reliever!

Everyday Life Apps: 

Glide: I have a Galaxy cell phone and I love it, but using Skype takes up so much room on my device! So when my sister told me about Glide, I downloaded it, and I love it!!! It is actually a video texting app that allows you to video text live! So as soon as you touch the record button it goes live to your selected person. Only negative...is it goes live...meaning if you accidentally start recording to the wrong person, it may be too late to delete before they see it! So be careful! This hasn't happened to me yet...and I hope it never does...lol! You are also able to send a worded text with this app as well.

Game Apps:

Farm Heroes Saga: This app has become a little addiction for me! I love it! Kind of like Candy Crush Saga , both made by King (which I gave up on months ago), you play by matching 3 or more like characters! Each level has a certain number of characters you must match in order to progress to the next level. You can connect with your Facebook account and compete and share lives as well. It's an addicting game...so be warned!

Words With Friends by Zynga: If you like scrabble, you will love words with friends! You are given 7 letters and your objective is to form words that score the highest possible points! This game can be played with Facebook friends or with random opponents! I also play other games in the Words With Friends family, so look me up!

Ruzzle: Do you have quick fingers? With Ruzzle, you have to be quick! You are given a crossword like table and you have 2 minutes to make as many words as you can! You are competing with another player. After three rounds, the player with the most point wins! You can connect with Facebook friends or compete with a random opponent!

Mini Golf Match Up: Another fun game you can play with Facebook friends or compete with random opponents! If you like golf or mini golf, this is a super fun game! It has an array of fun themed courses that are sure to challenge! You can also earn coin to unlock other courses by meeting objectives throughout the game!

Well, these are just a few of the apps that I like to use and play! I will add more soon. I have an array of apps that i use for my 2 yr for educational purposes as well as fun games that keep her out of my hair sometimes!
